A long dry Summer

After a hot and very dry Summer the estate is starting to recover from the first welcome rains. It was touch and go for some plants and shrubs and even the well established rhododendrons suffered. Guests are enjoying the last few days of the pool, closing on 1 September as a result of the magnificent copper beach, which, following its own time schedule linked to hours of sunlight, is shedding its nuts and leaves.
